Do you ever have a problem when you sit down in front of your favorite twitter app and you just don’t know what to say. So, instead of tweeting out something interesting and engaging you start dribbling out…well, something that stinks? Unfortunately it is not an uncommon problem. In his humorous video Jay Izso, aka The Internet Doctor, helps us diagnose the problem and offers a creative solution.
Twitter is a social network where networking is the key to success. Tweeting only your own horn rarely results in much success. The internet doctor uses humor to help convey what is too frequently a real problem on twitter – tweets that just aren’t solid. In his blog post that features this video the Internet Doctor addresses the interactive nature of twitter with the following tip:
The first step is to use it. The second step is not only to write something, it also means talking to other people about what they write. If you think for a moment that you are the guru where everyone will just come to read your “tweets” you are sadly mistaken. Unless you really are a guru, it is going to take effort on your part to read what others “tweet” and “tweet” back in the form of a “reply”. Yes sir, yes ma’am Twitter is a “two-way tweet”, if you cannot accept that, then the truth is you really do have “tweeterhhea”.
We think the Internet Doctor offers a prescription for twitter success. You can follow Jay Izso, the Internet Doctor @internetdoctor We look forward to hearing your reactions to his video.

I'm guilty of sending out the “I just had a great workout” tweet, but I've learned the error of my ways. I try to tweet observations that I think are funny but I'm no Seinfeld so I should probably stop those too. This article is a nice reminder that I need engage in more conversation and not just shout with headphones blaring.
