I loved “The Human Side of Twitter. It was just the book I needed to read after a stressful week. I laughed and laughed and laughed some more. I could so relate to “to me, not broke is rich.” I kept reading this book long after I was sleepy and was amused by so many of the tweets. I had heard so much about twitter, both good and bad and I thought this book would give me some insight. It did. I am contemplating joining Twitter as I type because it did bring smiles and laughs and general amusement. I am sure I will be reading through these tweets over and over, and I already shared a few with my friends.
If you have heard your friends and coworkers talking, perhaps laughing or debating, about tweets, then you must check out this book and see what they are enjoying. You will be amazed at what people tweet about and how fast you want to turn to the next page. If you have heard of Twitter but don’t want one more computer addicted, get a sneak peek into the world of Twitter by reading this book. You will enjoy it.
This book would make an awesome gift for any Twitter addict and would be thoroughly enjoyed by any teen that you may know.

Just received my copy of “The Human Side of Twitter” this week. Awesome book! If you buy this you will smile, be intrigued, feel a little sad, wince and laugh out loud. Probably more laughing than anything!
The thoughts that people convey in the limited characters of a ‘tweet’ offer a unique insight into society that is in a way unprecedented. These tweets are emotions and thoughts that often never find their way into a diary or journal. Raw human emotion that if found by mankind a thousand years from now would give them an interesting look into what we are all like today. Some things strike a distinct modern tone while other tweets could apply to people 700 years ago.
You won’t be dissapointed with this book. “The Human Side of Twitter” is the perfect name.

I love computers, I love the Internet and I love Twitter. The Human Side of Twitter, though, is mostly about people. I love people, too. Well, some people…
Twitter, more than any other forum or social network displays the rich diversity of daily human activity, conversation and thought. In a world obsessed with privacy concerns people are, instead, choosing to reveal quite a lot about themselves on Twitter, the most public place on the planet.
Previous reviewers of The Human Side of Twitter said that many of the tweets in this book made them laugh although not all tweets were funny. That’s true. Some situations are somewhat unfortunate and sad but profoundly human. That’s why they’re included in this collection. Nobody appreciates the humor found here more than I do but I also found value in including some rare moments when someone used Twitter to share their pain, sadness, or fears.
Nobody, so far, has mentioned that there are some tweets of an adult nature here and some, which contain graphic language. It’s not for the very young and, probably, not for the very old. For the rest of you, if you enjoy this book as much as I’ve enjoyed putting it together then you’ll be delighted, indeed!

If you really just need to relax and have a laugh, I recommend The Human Side of Twitter. There’s very little depth to the tweets that listed here. You’re either going to laugh out loud, raise an eyebrow and cock your head while saying “Where did THAT come from?” or you’re going to find yourself in full agreement with some of them.
Neil does help us along by putting male and female symbols next to the tweets. I can’t help but think of how confusing it would be with some of them had he not.
I found the book to be very entertaining, kind of an empty-calorie snack in terms of reading. Very nice.

“The Human Side of Twitter” is a compilation of 1300 tweets that Neil Sandow PharmD has found across Twitter. It’s a unique book showing the many facades of humanity. There are people tweeting from work, tweeting from school, tweeting from cab rides, and standing in line. All of the tweets are random, so if you opened the book on a random page and placed your finger somewhere, you’d most likely find a funny entry!
I was amused by the sub-title of this book, “Bad Spelling, Poor Grammar, Great Entertainment”, because that’s what this book is about.
